Hey, I recently bought the E1200 advertised as 300mbit/s but it is slower than my old WRT54GL. On wireless i get only 1.5 / 2 MB/s download speed and 6-7 MB/s wired max. My ISP provides me 100 mbits/s download, around 12 MB/s without using the router. I'm not an expert imto configuring routers, b i had the same issue with the e1200. slow speeds. i called cisco and found that 2.0.02 is an old version. did the G setting and got faster speeds. however, it is an N router so you shouldn't have to use it as a G. so this is what i did to fix the slow N connection. make sure you are making these changes while hardwired. if your wireless you are going to be knocked off once router starts resetting.
